Roslyn Downtown Association
Organic Social Media
Manastash Media has worked with the Roslyn Downtown Association (RDA) on their organic social media campaign since 2020. We focused on the Roslyn community and created shareable content on Facebook and Instagram to help the RDA achieve better reach and engagement outside of their social ad campaign, to underline and share the organic lifestyle in Roslyn.
In March 2025, we captured and posted a video of the 35th Annual Roslyn Spittoon Races at The Brick Saloon.
The video was published during the event allowing for real-time excitement and interaction with our audience. This viral video amassed over 1.5 million views, 170 comments, 75 shares, 77 saves, and over 3,300 engagements.
The engagement wasn’t just from locals- tourists, and event lovers from all over engaged with the post, commenting on how they wanted to visit or reminiscing about past Spittoon Races. This post wasn’t just a win on social media, it was a celebration of the events that make small towns like Roslyn special.

In June of 2024, we created and published a reel that centered on Nolan, a prominent community member who is a city council member and leader in Roslyn. As part of our community leader campaign, we captured a video of Nolan, who explained the importance of Roslyn’s local businesses and encouraged people to visit, explore, and enjoy all the town has to offer.
The candid nature of the video had an impactful effect as Nolan’s message resonated with RDA’s followers locally and beyond. The results of this reel display how well-received Nolan’s message was with people commenting their fond memories of Roslyn. This reel reached 10,523 accounts, was saved 7 times, and received 35 comments. The insights from this post are a reminder of the importance and impact of community engagement!
A September photo showcased a local historical treasure: a 1947 photo of Roslyn’s iconic “Gateway to the Grandeur” sign, which once greeted people to the town. The significance of the sign and the nostalgic appeal made this post an instant hit. The post reached over 38,000 accounts and was shared 17 times. The comment section was an opportunity to reminisce about their memories of Roslyn and was full of experiences and stories.

While walking through Roslyn we snapped a quick photo of two women on horseback that captured the charm and beauty of Downtown Roslyn. We published this photo in October as an example of the magical moments you can have in Roslyn. RDA’s post about simple experiences connected with their audience which received 9805 views and 234 reactions.
In December we wanted to spread holiday cheer, to do so, we took a Santa hat to local business owners and shared a carousel of their festive photos. Our simple idea created a space for community celebration while highlighting the people behind each business during one of their slower seasons. This post was a way for the business owners involved to showcase their personalities and led to the post being shared across their own personal profiles. This holiday carousel received nearly 400 reactions and reached just over 18,000 accounts. Business owners and locals appreciated the space this post provided to connect with their community and spread the holiday spirit.
